Why I Prefer Eidon's Silica

As many of you know, we’ve long carried Orgono Silica, and now we also offer Eidon’s Ionic Angstrom Silica. Both are great, but I personally prefer the Eidon one for a few reasons, which I will explain now.
The number one reason I prefer Eidon’s Silica is because it delivers 16x more silica per serving. You get 375 mg of ionic silica per serving with Eidon, compared to just 22.5 mg in Orgono. That’s a massive difference. If you wanted to match Orgono’s 22.5 mg dose using Eidon’s product, you’d only need to take 1/16th of a serving — meaning the bottle could practically last forever. But if you cut the dose in half to make it last two months, you’d still be getting 8 times more silica than Orgono.
I asked the owner of Orgono why they only use a 22.5mg silica serving. He explained that absorption efficiency starts to decline above that range. And that’s true — studies show that silica absorption tends to be most efficient at doses between 20–30 mg. However, while efficiency may drop beyond that, absorption doesn’t stop completely. The body can still take in a grip-load more silica overall with higher doses — just at a slightly reduced percentage.
Higher dosages like Eidon’s silica can be very beneficial for bone rebuilding and calcium management. As seen at the study
here, it suggests that 10–30 mg/day of dietary silica supports general health (e.g., hair, skin, nails), while higher doses (100–400 mg) may be needed for therapeutic bone rebuilding, based on both animal and human data.
Even though the body absorbs silica a little less efficiently at higher doses, Eidon’s massive 375 mg serving still gets you way more into your system — potentially well over 150 mg or more actually absorbed. And because Eidon’s silica is fully ionized and angstrom-sized, it bypasses many of the typical absorption bottlenecks seen in other forms, meaning your body may take in even more than that.
That’s a huge advantage if you’re trying to rebuild bone or support calcium balance. Orgono’s 22.5 mg dose is great for everyday maintenance, but Eidon’s higher dose is better suited for people who need something more intensive. And due to this much higher dosage, it may also help remove significantly more aluminum from the body over time since that is a mechanism of what Silica does.

here, silica can help chelate aluminum. Therefore, it’s great for Brain Health in children and adults. It prevents the absorption of aluminum in the body, and it also detoxifies aluminum from your tissues.
I simply just love how abundant the silica is per dosage in Eidon’s Silica. Whenever I take it, I just know that I am getting a grip-load of silica, lol.
The second reason I would choose Eidon’s silica over Orgono’s is because I am a purist. Orgono has a more complex formulation. It combines silica with a methyl group (MMST), uses a natural stabilizing solution, and includes preservatives to maintain stability — which may be necessary for that type of compound. It also requires refrigeration.
Eidon’s Silica doesn’t require refrigeration, and it won’t spoil. It’s a clean, straightforward formula — no frills, just ionic silica in ultra-pure water.
The last reason I love it so much is simply convenience, just like Scott mentioned in his testimonial above.
Eidon’s silica doesn’t need refrigeration so the bottle is not bound to the house. You can literally leave it in your car for 4 years and it will still be just as good. Furthermore, it’s concentrated into a small 2oz glass bottle instead of a huge 32oz plastic bottle. I literally just put a dropper full or less (since the dosage is so high) in all my water and juices.
Remember, all of Eidon’s minerals are fully ionized, angstrom-sized, and suspended in ultra-pure water — meaning it’s in the exact form your cells are looking for, no breakdown or conversion required.
