Magtein: Miracle Magnesium for the Brain 56.7 Grams

One of the scariest things for me is when I can’t remember something. It completely freaks me out.

I just stumbled upon a solution, a product that was originally developed to increase memory, in particular for Alzheimer’s Patients.

Researchers found out many years ago, that the more magnesium that they found in the brain, the more intelligence that animal or human has. Furthermore, practically everybody that has had Alzheimer’s Disease, were shown to have almost no magnesium in their brain when they were autopsied. The problem is, they never found a magnesium that could cross the Brain Blood Barrier; until now.

It’s called Magnesium L-threonate, or goes by the trade name Magtein.

What Is Magtein? Magtein, also referred to as magnesium L-threonate, is a patented combination of magnesium and a vitamin C compound called ‘Threonic Acid’ developed by a group of MIT researchers.

Magnesium L-threonate is easily absorbed and able to enter the brain, where it may reverse the aging in our brains. It has already been shown to help adults with sleep disorders, anxiety, and cognitive dysfunction, and may help manage certain brain disorders, such as depression and age-related memory loss. It has also been shown to help with epilepsy and brain seizures.

As you will see at the study included at the link here, they concluded that magnesium levels in the brain were higher than in subjects that either didn’t receive supplemental magnesium or were given another type, and suggested that Magtein was able to cross the blood-brain and blood-CSF barriers because threonate effectively transports the mineral to brain neurons.

So, once you are able to get magnesium past the Brain Blood Barrier, you are able to feed the brain. You end up with more neurons, more synapsis, and more synaptic activity.

At the link here, four published preclinical studies found that Magtein improved memory, and helped prevent the decline and reversed the symptoms of Alzheimer’s. Additionally, the ability to raise brain magnesium levels were evaluated among the most bioavailable organic and inorganic magnesium forms, and Magtein was the only magnesium compound to raise the cerebrospinal fluid magnesium concentration with statistical significance.

That is big time.

It becomes more difficult to absorb magnesium with time, putting older adults at a higher risk of Magnesium inadequacy. This is one of the reasons why Alzheimer’s is so prolific among seniors. Also, if a person has type 2 diabetes or insulin resistance, high levels of glucose in the kidneys can cause the body to excrete more magnesium, and as they age may cause memory issues in the long-run.

Just to drill in the importance to have magnesium in order to avoid Alzheimers, another 17-year study that followed more than 1,000 Japanese adults over the age of 60 found that those who consumed more than 200 mg of magnesium per day were 37 percent less likely to develop any type of dementia and 74 percent less likely to develop vascular dementia [3].

This very special Magnesium, that uses ‘Threonic Acid’ to get the Magnesium across the Blood Brain Barrier maybe just what you or a loved one is looking for.

It takes about one month to start getting results with the Magtein, so be patient.

A study showed that orally ingested Magtein has been shown to take at least one month to raise brain magnesium levels to the extent required to have an effect on memory formation (Slutsky et al., 2010).

It may take a month or so to also get the other side benefits, such as better sleep and reduced anxiety.

Dr. Bob McCauley, a long time proponent of the Raw Foods Movement, doesn’t miss a day taking Magtein. He gave it to a patient with schizophrenia and it helped him tremendously. Alongside the Magtein, he also gave him Bacopa and Mucuna, the brain herbs I’m always talking about. It took this guy right out of his schizophrenia funk and depressive state, which comes on periodically.

The combination of the Magtein, Bacopa, and Mucuna, would be ideal if you want to take this all the way.

Acetylcholine is the most widely spread neurotransmitter in various brain regions and is required for proper memory and cognition, as well as motor control. Imbalances in acetylcholine are linked with chronic conditions, such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. People who have Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease tend to have low levels of acetylcholine.

Certain medications can increase levels of acetylcholine. Donepezil, Rivastigmine, and Galantamine are the top three pharmacuetical drugs used to reduce anticholinesterase activity, which breaks down our acetylcholine. In the clinical study here, it states that Bacopa reduces anticholinesterase activity just as good as these top three pharmaceutical drugs for this task. When we inhibit the breakdown of acetylcholine with Bacopa, it’s done in a natural way, it works just as good as the Pharmaceutical drugs, and it will work in conjunction with the Magtein to keep the neurotransmitters flowing with increased synapsis.

While Bacopa keeps the Neurotransmitter Acetylcholine from breaking down, Mucuna helps them from being depleted from all of our bad habits. If you stress or consume too much coffee, alcohol, psych drugs, or sugar consistently, it will deplete your dopamine levels.

The reason we all love coffee and other stimulants so much is because it triggers dopamine. However, the effect wares off over time and we have to increase our intake to get any effect. The issue is it depletes our dopamine reserves over time.

As seen in the clincial studies here and here, there is a balance effect between dopamine and this neurotransmitter acetylcholine. The loss of dopamine will cause the over-production of too much acetylcholine, and that will deplete the acetylcholine. The meds used to block the actions of acetylcholine in order to allow dopamine levels to rebalance, are called anticholinergics. The side effects are pretty harsh including confusion, memory loss, hallucinations and blurry vision.

Mucuna on the other hand, has more L-Dopa than any other food or herb on the planet, which is the precursor to the neurotransmitter dopamine. With mucuna, you can raise your dopamine levels naturally, and due to this balance effect between dopamine and acetylcholine shown in those two clinical studies above, Mucuna can help keep this very powerful Neurotransmitter Acetylcholine from being depleted from all of our bad habits.

Experts also believe that many nonmotor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, such as memory problems, are related to reduced levels of acetylcholine. As many of you know, clinical studies show that Mucuna actually helps people with Parkinson’s disease, where the patients are lacking in dopamine.

The combination of Magtein, in order to get Magnesium through the Brain Blood Barrier of the brain, along with Bacopa and Mucuna to keep our Neutrotransmitters from being broken down and depleted, may be the ideal combination in order to stop Alzheimer’s and Memory Loss issues in its tracks.

The great thing about Magtein is that it’s absolutely odorless and tasteless. There are a lot of forms of magnesium that taste absolutely horrible, and this one is fantastic. You simply just mix it up with a littler water, juice or anything really. It’s completely water soluble.

They recommend about 2000 mgs per day, or 2 grams per day, which is about 1/2 a teaspoon total. I recommend taking a gram in the morning, then take another gram before you go to bed, which is about 1/4 of a teaspoon each time. You will most likely sleep extremely well and very deep, while remembering your dreams a lot better. As I stated before, it can also help with anxiety. People report not waking up in the middle of the night with those typical anxieties that plague us, which are out of our control. Those anxieties subside amazingly well. For those with Dementia, they can take up to 6 grams per day.

This is one of the best brain products that I have ever come across. As usual, our Magtein is just one single ingredient; Magtein. Every other Magtein product that I have come across has other ingredients. Ours is 100% Pure Magtein Powder.

We’ve got to keep that control center working top notch, and I’m super excited to bring you Magtein, which is the only magnesium that crosses the Brain Blood Barrier.
