Moringa for Iron, Cholesterol, Blood Pressure
Hey Everyone!
Moringa is one of those Superfoods that is not only loaded with incredible amounts of nutrition, but it is also loaded with a ridiculous amount of bioactive compounds, which aids in healing the body from so many different angles. As you will see below, it helps to lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, lower blood glucose levels, and is so beneficial for helping with so many degenerative health challenges.
Moringa leaves are rich in protein including sulphur containing amino acids. In fact, Moringa has all of the amino acids. Moringa has 7 times more potassium than bananas, twice as much protein than milk, four times more calcium than milk, five times more Vitamin C compared to an orange, 36 times more magnesium than eggs, 50 times more B3 than peanuts, 56 times more B2 than Bananas, and over 10 times more iron than spinach.
In fact, several studies — here, here, here, and here — were conducted specifically in women. Two focused on women in the preconception stage, one on postpartum women, and one on women in midlife. Across all four studies, there was a significant increase in hemoglobin levels, leading researchers to suggest that moringa leaves may help prevent anemia due to their naturally high iron content.
In the clinical study here, Moringa has shown good bio-accessibility and bio-availability of iron.
One of our customers wrote in saying that our Moringa threw her hemoglobin levels through the roof.
Elaine writes:
“I donated blood on July 2nd [2026] and today. Both times my hemoglobin [iron] levels have been the highest ever, way above the minimum required for donation.
I give the credit to your Moringa Leaf powder. I take it with water, lime juice, almond oil or hazelnut oil, and either cacao butter, ghee, or coconut oil. I also eat food very soon before or after.
My hemoglobin/iron today was 15.1. The minimum for blood donation is 12.5. The nurse at Vitalant said it was one of the highest hemoglobins for a female that she had ever seen.”
As you can see, Moringa is a nutritional powerhouse.
Moringa is often called the “Miracle Tree”, because it has some very special properties on top of all of this nutrition.
Moringa contains rare and rich active compounds, which includes alkaloids, glycosides, sterols, glucosinolates, isothiocyanates, tannins, and saponins. Moringa is also rich in vitamins, carotenoids (beta carotene, lutein), polyphenols, phenolic acids, fatty acids, terpenoids, and flavonoids, which includes a ton of Quercetin. These bio-active compounds are responsible for the medicinal effects of Moringa.
In one of those Iron Studies above, The data also revealed significant increases in serum glutathione peroxidase (18.0%), superoxide dismutase (10.4%), and ascorbic acid (44.4%), with decreases in malondialdehyde (16.3%; lipid peroxidation), markers of antioxidant properties. In addition, a significant decrease in fasting blood glucose levels (13.5%) as well.
Many people are continually looking for natural methods in order to help lower their blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar.
Due to having such a wide array of bioactive compounds that influence lipid homeostasis, Moringa helps to lower cholesterol from many different angles. For example, phenolic compounds, saponins, and flavonoids reduce and delay cholesterol absorption. Furthermore, they bind bile acids, by forming insoluble complexes and increasing their fecal excretion, thereby decreasing plasma cholesterol concentrations. Moringa leaves also contain the bioactive β-sitosterol, with documented cholesterol lowering effects.
In the human clinical studies here, and here, they used Moringa Leaf Powder just like what we are offering today, and their cholesterol levels significantly lowered.
In the human clinical study here, it concludes, “The intervention effectiveness of Moringa oleifera leaf extract is effective in increasing HDL serum (High-Density Lipoprotein) levels and decreasing LDL serum (Low-Density Lipoprotein) levels in hyperlipidemic patients.”
As seen at the study here, there are numerous animal studies where Moringa lowers cholesterol.
Moringa also contains substances that may help manage blood pressure. In the study here, a group of healthy participants consumed 120 grams of cooked moringa leaves for a week, while another group did not. Two hours after eating, those who consumed moringa had lower blood pressure than those who did not. The beauty of this powder, is that it’s these Moringa Leaves concentrated into a potent powder.
At the clinical studies here, and here, they isolated four pure compounds, niazinin A, niazinin B, niazimicin and niazinin A + B from ethanol extract of Morgina leaves showed a blood pressure lowering effect. Furthermore, a recent study reported that Moringa reduced vascular oxidation in spontaneously hypertensive rats at the link here. In the human clinical studies here, they concluded, “”this study demonstrated that Moringa leaf had a tendency on blood pressure reduction in blood sugar imbalance.”
On top of all this, Moringa has been extensively studied on people with blood sugar concerns. In the studies here, and here, people with blood sugar concerns were fed Moringa Leaf Powder, and their blood glucose levels decreased significantly, while hemoglobin A1C, an index of glycosylation related to blood glucose levels, also decreased.
Again, Moringa contains a wide array of bioactive compounds. I only gave you guys a short list above. As seen in the clinical study here, it beautifully breaks down all of these different bio-active compounds and what conditions and degenerative health challenges they help.
This study highlights Moringa’s remarkable benefits, including potent antioxidant, blood-sugar-balancing, and anti-inflammatory effects, as well as antimicrobial, antifungal, weight-management, and hepatoprotective (liver-protecting) properties. It also shows anti-allergic, diuretic, wound-healing, immunomodulatory (immunity-boosting), and neuroprotective (aiding age-related memory decline) effects, alongside analgesic (pain-relieving), gastroprotective, cardioprotective, renoprotective (kidney-protecting), and anxiolytic (stress-reducing) activities. Moringa may combat abnormal cell growth, skin outbreaks, HIV, and chronic neuropathic pain, reduce fatigue, enhance athletic performance, and offer anti-thrombotic, anti-arrhythmic, and cardiovascular support, making it a versatile superfood for overall health.
This study concluded, “Pharmacological studies show that the active constituents of the plant (Moringa) have effectively helped with various health challenges such as neuropathic pain, abnormal cell growth, blood pressure concerns, blood sugar imbalance, excess weight etc.”
As you can see, Moringa has such a wide variety of elements that it’s used for both medicinal purposes and for human nutrition.
Thanks everyone for your support!
Sincerely,
Matt
